Teachers give us their first impressions of Power Smart for Schools

This weekend, we attended the PSA Superconference. It was a packed house, with over 6000 attendees from all over the province.

It’s been about a month since we launched our new site, so it was a great opportunity to gather early feedback from teachers about the newly launched Power Smart for Schools site.

When we showed off the line-up of energy activities and lessons, here’s what we heard from you:

  • The new website looks great and is easy to navigate.
  • Conservation and sustainability activities are a great help for Green Teams.
  • Downloadable PDF worksheets, handouts, and slideshows are a great alternative to the old workbooks.
  • Making materials available for hands-on classroom activities would be helpful.
  • French content is something to include in the future.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by to chat - your feedback is appreciated and helps us continue to create relevant resources for you and the rest of the teaching community. We’re excited to meet many more of you at future teacher conferences.
