Although our activities and lessons were designed for classroom instruction, most are easily adaptable for learning at home.

Our online hub of energy focused education resources can help your child or student in a remote learning environment. We have over 80 ready-to-go, curriculum-aligned activities for K to 12 students, that can be filtered by grade, duration, and activity type.

Whether you’re a seasoned teacher or a parent helping your child learn, our activities come with easy-to-follow instructions and can be adapted to your teaching needs.

Here are 4 popular activities that are easy to do at home:

Energy stretch – K to Grade 2 (30 min.)

  • Kids follow along with a fun video to learn how we use the power of water to make electricity.

  • Explore potential and kinetic energy by building a marble run using scrap materials at home.

Power’s out! Surviving three days without electricity – Grade 6/7 (40 min.)
